Event Details
Join Islington Chamber of Commerce and enjoy networking over continental breakfast with our Business Breakfast Club. A great way to start the business day! Each Delegate has the opportunity to present their business and offer referrals – with a keynote speaker presenting on the morning.
We pride ourselves on our informal yet vibrant approach to business networking.
All business types are welcome and you are not required to attend every single week!
Claudia Crawley from Winning Pathways Coaching talks about accelerated development through the use of coaching.
Coaching: making sustainable change in your business, career and personal life, faster than doing it solo, AND sustainably.
1. What is the hidden resource of all high performing organisations?
2. What is Google's 'first rule' for being an effective boss?
Many people lack clarity about what coaching actually is and often confuse it with counselling or therapy. Some people believe it's a weakness to be on the receiving end of coaching, that you have to be broken in some way and need to be fixed. Or they may see it as a luxury in today's economic climate. The effect is that people who could benefit from coaching are missing out on a powerful resource that could transform their lives, faster than doing it alone.
This interactive presentation will consist of: what coaching is and isn't, the benefits of having a coach, successful examples of coaching, an active example of how coaching can enable effective transition by reframing expectations and mindsets. Come for an insight into an accessible, life-changing experience!!
